GCDP arrange “Gawri Book Fare” in Utror Valley

GCDP arranged a book fare in the main hall of GHSS Utror, where hundreds of Gawri books were displayed in stall. Students from schools and local community visited the book fare and read the book. GCDP also displayed the old rare cultural photos taken by Mr. Ftitz Berger. These phots were printed in A4 size and exhibited in the book fare, students and locals read the captions of photos and made comments, shared information, and ideas with each other.
The bloom books printed by GCDP were in cultural context, the themes of the books were Agriculture, Pasturing, Health, and Education. Students were showing keen interest in these books. GCDP’s staff were there to demonstrate the photos and help to find the books.
A 4X6 square feet banner of “Gawri Book Fare” was pasted on the wall of main hall, so that the participants could find the place of Book Fare and Writer’s Workshop.
The school administration kept keen interest in this book fare and said while sharing their comments that such kind of extracurricular activities are must for the High School students, so that they can be aware of culture, language, values, and norms.
Local elders deeply enjoyed the Photo exhibition. It said that "A picture is worth a thousand words" the elders reminded their past; they analyzed the hurdles of past and the current status of development in the community.
It was the 1st book fare and photo exhibition in the Utror Valley, the participants enjoyed it a lot and asked the GCDP’s staff to arrange more such events.
