Started classes for adult female and male literacy
As the MLE program for children is growing, GCDP also has received requests from the community to begin mother-tongue-based literacy classes for women. GCDP responded to those requests, recognizing the benefits for the women themselves, but also the important role of mothers in motivating and supporting their children in the realm of education. GCDP started Adult Literacy pilot project for both men and women in Kalam recently. Total of 15 women and 12 men successfully completed stage 1 in their mother tongue.
